Legal Framework
Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance of B2B License
By establishing a firm subscription, licensing the API integration, or accessing the LexDoc IQ platform, your law firm agrees to be bound by these corporate Terms of Service. If you are accepting these terms on behalf of a partnership or legal corporation, you represent that you hold standard administrative signing authority.
2. Permitted Use & Professional Ethics
LexDoc IQ is licensed strictly for use by legal professionals, paralegals, and legal operations staff. Users must comply with all state and federal ethics guidelines concerning medical provider communications, HIPAA regulations, and California workers' compensation laws. Use of our proximity matching tools to steer panels or violate DWC neutral evaluator requirements is strictly prohibited.
3. Multi-Tenant Account Security
Licensing fees are billed per tenant organization. Firms are prohibited from sharing login credentials outside their active corporate email domains. Each user account must belong to a verified individual (partner, attorney, paralegal, or case manager) to maintain audit trails and role-based vote integrity.
4. Intellectual Property & Firm-Contributed Directory Data
The core scoring algorithm, geocoding logic, and platform interface designs are the exclusive intellectual property of LexDoc IQ. Roster listings and reviews inputted by your firm's users remain the private property of your tenant database and are protected under multi-tenant database isolation parameters.
5. Limitation of Liability
LexDoc IQ provides firm-contributed case directories on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The platform is not liable for case outcomes, QME panel timelines, or billing disputes arising between licensed law firms and medical specialists.
